A Tex Mex Birthday Dinner With Swoozies

I had so much fun creating a tablescape with Swoozies for Keith’s Tex Mex Birthday Dinner! As many of you already know, Swoozies is one of my go-to spots for all my entertaining and gifting needs. So when it came time to set the table for my man, I knew exactly where to go.

Entertaining With Swoozies

How fun is this “Viva La Brunch” themed table? I love these Moroccan or “Spanish Tile” looking PAPER plates! That’s right, paper! Who knew paper plates could be this gorgeous? My striped table runner is actually some of Swoozies’ paper placemats that I laid down to look like a table runner! Check out this whole collection at Swoozies by clicking here.

The cutlery is plastic and so is my table cover! The table cover and the napkin rings are from Target.

The vase, wine decanter, and hurricane are Jan Barboglio.

For my arrangement, I wanted to find some yellow flowers to compliment the mustard yellow napkins and the gold rim on the plates. I went to Trader Joe’s and found these yellow and muted blue flowers!

Yellow napkins are from World Market. Click here to shop. Set of four for $8!

This smocked dress is available in so many colors and patterns! I love that it’s so light weight and it’s flowy enough, you can go back for seconds! I purchased this dress on Few Moda! Few Moda is a website that you can pay a yearly membership fee of $120, or $10 a month to get everything on their site at whole sale pricing! So normally this dress retails around $150-$200, but I got it for $89!

My candles are Santa Rosa Candles. The golden yellow color of these candles complimented the napkins and rim of the plates so well, it was a no brainer to use them!

The Tequila Bar Cart

Is it really a party without Tequila?!

I made another arrangement of flowers to compliment the table’s centerpiece. Also, adding in the blue and white Clase Azul Tequila bottle, really tied in well with my tablescape.

Napkins & MARG Cups

Stayed on the Jan Barboglio theme and used her bowl for my limes, and the Angel Wings on the bottom shelf.

I wanted to break up the greens and blues here to really create multiple focal points. The limes and Topo Chico grab my attention first, but then my eyes settle on the blue hues… I barely even notice the flowers! Haha, anyone else ??!

Don’t forget!!
